The first time I had any kind of contact with anyone with Cancer was when my mom was diagnosed when I was just 14 with ovarian cancer. I didn't know much about cancer and didn't want to know much all I wanted was my momma after she lost her fight after only three months. Almost fifteen years later my husband's sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. Our lives were turned upside down when she lost her fight after three years. This May my life was again ravaged by cancer when my grandfather was diagnosed with acute leukemia AML...he just went into hospice this week.

I plan to shave my head this year and donate all my hair to locks of love or pantene...for someone else to have hair while they are recovering. I can go without hair for a while and I think it will be a huge growing experince for me. It is one of my hugest vanities. My hair is a big issue for me and I can see why it is so hard for women to loose their hair. So please support me in this and donate to this wonderful cause!
